A Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Tube Bender shapes hollow metal tubing (round, square or rectangular), steel pipe, and bar stock (round or square). Dayton Rogers' tube benders are equipped with a CNC unit programmed for precise and repeatable bends at high speeds. CNC Tube Bending is ideal for parts containing more than two bends.
To start the bending process, the operator feeds cut-to-length material into the bender's chuck. Once the material is locked in, the operator starts the process using a control panel. Next, the bender makes a bend and automatically readjusts and secures the material for the next bend. After the programmed operation has completed the series of bends, the chuck releases. Finally, the operator removes the part and inserts the next pre-cut tube or pipe.
